National Parents Union President Keri Rodrigues said:
“We are deeply troubled by the news of the apparent attempted assassination of former President Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The National Parents Union unequivocally condemns all acts of political violence.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Secret Service and members of law enforcement for their swift and courageous response, ensuring the safety of all those present.
Their dedication and professionalism are commendable and vital to maintaining the security and integrity of our democratic processes.
We must stand united in our belief that violence is never an acceptable means of addressing political disagreements. Our democracy thrives on respectful dialogue and the peaceful exchange of ideas.”
